Kind and a team of 25 supporters spent much of the day doing construction work at the new shelter for victims of abuse. They painted and tore down walls to make room for living and meeting spaces. He says his supporters turned out today because they recognize the important role the shelter plays in the Chippewa valley.

I've disagreed with a couple of Ron's decisions, yet I've continued to respect and support him because he has consistently demonstrated that while his heart and soul are all western Wisconsin, his mind and eyes are on both western Wisconsin and our nation. That is why next November, I'll again be voting to return Ron Kind to the U.S. House of Representatives, as should every 3rd Congressional District voter.
